Help with Ordering Your Optimum Invisiwig
Step 1: First step is to learn all about the Optimum Invisiwig and its benefits by reading our in-dept Frequently Asked Questions Page that we have designed for you. There is a wealth of information on these pages especially if this is your first full lace wig purchase.
Step 2: Review all the Helping Tools:
Step 3: Measure Your Head - Follow the steps at the bottom of the page by clicking on the link that says "How to Measure."
Step 4: Choose the Wig that you wish to order. Each wig has a Product Code at the bottom of the last drop down box.
Step 5: Choose your customization options for your wig. Go back to the wig you wish to order and select your choices from the drop down boxes.
Choosing Your Options:
Add Adhesive Kit: This is highly recommended for beginners as it has everything that you will need to get started. read what is included in the kit.
Baby Hair: Most people add this all around the perimeter
Baby Hair Type: Most popular options are for Straight or Yaki Hair textures - most people get straight baby hair. For Curly or Wavy hair, most people get curly or straight baby hair.
Bleached Knots: If ordering darker colors - the bleached knots is a most have option as it helps the wig look more natural.
What are Bleached Knots? Bleached knots is a technique where they bleach out the knot that is made when each strand of hair is hand-tied into the lace at the base of the cap. It bleaches the knot out, making it a little lighter so that it does not stand out as much. It gives it a more natural appearance as though the hairs are growing out of the scalp. This is recommended when you choice a dark hair color.
Cap Style Choices: The most popular cap style is the full lace cap with ear to ear stretch.
Free Style Can Part Anywhere: Select Yes, that means you will be able to part your unit anywhere throughout the wig.
Hair Color: Use the color chart. Also if you are unsure of the color or want to see the actual color - order the actual color swatches.
Hair Density: This is how thick or thin your want the hair throughout the wig to be. Medium is the most natural density.
Hair Length: The hair length is from root to hair end. So each strand will be the length that you select unless you ask us to layer the wig.
Hair Texture: You can choice from straight, yaki straight, wavy, and curly. See the Hair Texture Chart to get more help.
Highlight Color Option: You can choice to have a highlight color. This can either be subtle streaks or equally blended. For streaks, choice Highlight (70-30%). For equally blended to appear as one mixed color, choose Equally Blended (50-50%). Remember when equally blending colors, the lighter or brighter color will be what stands out the most.
Lace Choice: The French Lace is the most popular lace choice. It is the most durable lace to choice from. It is undetectable and will hold up over daily and long term removal of your unit. The Swiss Lace is less durable and rips easier. It is not recommended for beginners.

Step 6: Once you put all your selections in the drop down boxes, you are now read to check out. Add the wig to your basket.
Step 7: Follow the steps to checkout and make your payment. You will be notified via email to let you know that your order was received and that your payment was successful.
Step 8: Wait to receive your wig.
We provide premium quality units, therefore this time frame is needed to ensure high quality.
For Premium Custom Wigs - it takes approximately 8 - 10 weeks. Each wig is custom made to your measurements and specifications, with each individual strand of hair being hand tied and double knotted to ensure the highest quality. (Note: Beginning 4/15/07 this is the new time frame for orders placed after this date).
Once your wig ships, you will get a shipping notification via email.
